We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to run CheckToolForMe securely and understand how it is used. When you visit the site, our analytics record your page path and referrer, generating a random session identifier stored in your browser's local storage to understand user journeys without tracking identity.
If you use our contact, submission, or newsletter forms, we collect the name, email, and message content you provide. When you submit a form or use our AI features, we also generate and store a one-way hash of your IP address. This is irreversible and cannot be traced back to your raw IP; it is used solely to enforce rate limits and prevent spam.
We use no advertising cookies, we perform no cross-site tracking, and we absolutely do not sell your data to third parties.
Our AI Stack Finder feature uses Google's Gemini API to analyze company domains. When you enter a domain into the finder, that domain name is sent to Google's API to generate a business profile. No other personal data is shared with Google during this process.
We natively honor the "Do Not Track" browser setting and the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If either is enabled in your browser, our analytics tracker will silently disable itself for your visit.
You may request a correction or the complete deletion of any personal data we hold about you (such as your newsletter subscription or contact messages) by emailing us at hello@checktoolfor.me.
